Years of growth
Talking about the history of the Lwart Group is more than just telling the story of the birth and evolution of a company. It is telling chapters about the materialization of the desire to undertake, contributing to people's success stories and collaborating in the construction of a more sustainable world.
1950s • Brothers Luis, Alberto, Renato and Wilson Trecenti start their business in Lençóis Paulista/SP, manufacturing doors, windows, tanks and equipment for sugar and alcohol plants.
1960s • Business growth brought opportunities to also produce agricultural equipment and, later, rebar, metal structures and even toys for amusement parks.
1975 •The Trecenti founded Lwart Lubrificantes, entering the segment of collection and re-refining of used lubricating oil, a company that gave rise to the Lwart Group.
1986• The group expands its business and Lwarcel Celulose is created, a company that, over years of investment, has reached a production capacity of 250 thousand tons of eucalyptus pulp per year to supply the national and international paper and packaging markets.
1997 • Opening of Lwart Química, specialized in the production of waterproofing products for civil construction.
2005 • Period of great expansion for Lwarcel, reaching a capacity of 250 thousand tons of eucalyptus pulp per year.
2005 • Lwart Química acquires the Ciplak brand and also becomes the exclusive distributor in the country of Kryton products, high-tech products for waterproofing concrete.
2012 • Start of operations at the new Lwart Lubrificantes factory, with the capacity to process 200 million liters of used oil per year and the only producer of Group II base oil in Latin America.
2014 • Sale of Lwart Química to the Swiss multinational Sika, boosting the growth and development of operations in Brazil.
2018 • Sale of Lwarcel Celulose, a benchmark in quality, environmental management and energy efficiency, to the RGE Group, from Singapore. The Lwarcel expansion project, planned by the Group, was implemented and expanded, resulting in the largest private investment in the state of São Paulo in the last 20 years.
2020 • Lwart Lubrificantes launches its new positioning and becomes Lwart Soluções Ambientais. The Waste Management area begins operations to collect, dispose of and transform post-consumer waste in the most diverse segments.
2023 • The Lwart Group acquires VitalForce, an innovative company in the fertilizer and agricultural pesticides segment. Thus, it continues to evolve its entrepreneurial vocation in constant search for new business.
